Each week MX WEEKLY aims to bring you all the news from right around the globe,
race results, industry news and product reviews, as well as interviews and audio from riders, mechanics, team bosses
and the big names in the industry.
Keeping it local, we naturally give
listeners a comprehensive wrap up plus preview what is happening locally. Focusing on local riders, upcoming
talent, and riders with a story to tell, from the battlers struggling for recognition to the top end of the field
where success determines their very future on the race track MX WEEKLY covers it all, and if we aren't then

Nicki Shea-Howell has been involved with motorsport in Western Australia for over
20 years. As a volunteer and official with CAMS, the HQ Holden Racing Association, WA Superkart Club, WA Sporting
Car Club, Events Corp and Rally Australia and the WA Water Ski Association to name only a few.
Nicki was the first female Clerk of Course in WA to officiate at a CAMS
National Australian Championship.
A new sport
and interest emerged with motocross a few years ago, with her husband Jeff getting back into the sport of motocross, with
their own race team, "Phatcat Racing". Nicki made her race debut in 2008 and has raced with the women's
class ever since. Instrumental in establishing a ladies class at Noble Falls in WA, whilst continuing to promote and foster
the sport. The eldest female "vet" currently still riding in WA, Nicki is aboard the 1988 KX 250 and the 2008
CRF 250F both machines in pristine condition.
Nicki
is the motocross reporter and editor for two Perth produced television shows, Australia-wide On Two Wheels on Foxtel's
Aurora Channel 183 and Riding WA on WTV in Perth on channel 44.
Nicki is a regular contributor for Australian motocross publications and magazines, including
the new female Chix Moto Bikes Magazine.
Seeing an
outlet for further and up-to-date media coverage and exposure for motocross, Nicki began work in a voluntary capacity
with Sport FM in Perth WA. Thus, MX WEEKLY was born!
Sport FM is a community radio station broadcasting from Perth WA, and giving a voice to grass roots
sports, and sports not reported on in the mainstream media.
Happily married to Jeff, (affectionately known as "The Phatcat's") with 20 year old son Matthew,
the family shares a variety of interests, apart from MX Weekly, motorsport, motocross riding and racing, Nicki combines
a hectic work schedule, with a keen interest and participation in water skiing. Nicki is a heavily
involved in various committees and responsibilities in WA motocross, as the Ladies WAMX co-ordinator, a member of
the WA Women's Sporting Panel, and has emerged as a highly respected motocross commentator and journalist.
